Potstickers

This recipe features a great pork product we offer - Ground Pork

Potstickers

1 pound Wilcox Heritage Farm ground pork
1 c. shredded green cabbage
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1/2 of an onion, diced
1 TB hoisin sauce
1-2 drops Young Living Ginger Vitality Oil (or 1 TB freshly grated ginger)
2 tsp. sesame oil
pepper to taste
36 won ton wrappers
In large skillet, saute ground pork with garlic and onion. Add in cabbage, ginger oil, sesame oil, hoisin sauce, and sprinkle with pepper to taste. Once this is cooked/heated through, remove from heat. In another skillet, start heating up some cooking oil. (I like to use non-GMO canola oil).
Start assembling the potstickers:
Place about 1 TB of filling on each wrapper. Using your finger, rub the edges of the wrapper with some water. (I like to keep a small dish of water nearby to dip my finger in). Fold the dough over the filing to create a half-moon shape, pinching the edges to seal. Once your oil is heated, start frying the potstickers. They only take about 2-3 minutes per side.
You can double the recipe and freeze the leftovers to rewarm in a skillet later. If you're freezing them, freeze in a single layer on a cookie sheet before putting them in a freezer bag.
Serve with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or sriracha sauce. Enjoy!
