The week of celebrating

It's a week of celebrating in the Wilcox house.  We of course are celebrating Christmas and the birth of our Savior, but we are celebrating other things as well.

This week our oldest son turns 11, so we now have 2 parties in the books - we had a family birthday party on Saturday, then he had a few friends over today to celebrate.

We are also celebrating God's faithfulness and goodness to us over this past year.  We have been so blessed by many of you, and we thank you for that.  Thank you to our supportive family, friends, and customers.  This year has been a year of transition, and we would not have made it through without your love, help, and support.  So THANK YOU!!

It's hard to believe we've been here at "the farm" for over 9 months now.  Time certainly has a way of marching on.

Another reason to celebrate - healthy pigs!  All of our pigs are doing well, are healthy, strong and growing.  And, of course, they are enjoying grazing during this unseasonably warm December.

In another week we'll be celebrating a new addition to our herd.  We are purchasing another gilt to expand our hog breeding lines.  She will be residing in the new stall in the barn, which is getting closer to completion, thanks to the good work of Kevin.

So, from our home to yours, Merry Christmas!
